My ex husband has been living in the family home for almost 3 yrs now. When we first seperated I couldn’t afford the house. Now I’m on my feet again and would like my house in the settlement. He wants it too. My business is also located on the property. It could be moved if it had to be though. We have no children. Does he have more right to the house since he has been living in it for so long or do I have a better chance since I do business there.

I never send an attachment to everyone in my address book. I received a call and my friend indicated when she open the attachment, it crashed her computer. I am unable to locate a number for Yahoo to report this and find out out I can correct this fraud.

What Is The Best Way To Claim Damages On A Military Installation?

I have just purchased a new car. On the 5th day I had it, while parked at work on an Army post it was hit. There was no note left.
I called the MPs and they filed a report on the incident and their Traffic investigator looked into it.
I now have the report and would like to file with the JAG Claims office, but the claims officer said that they almost never pay. What would be my best course of action?-

contact your insurance company and have them file it as a hit and run. This will only be a 100 dollar deductable for you which is not too bad if you concider the average deductable is 500. fax them all the info from the military side, and if you have USAA you should get it in a couple days. I have seen this many times on base and the reason the base wont pay is because you cant prove it was damaged on base.

Example: you might have a problem with being criticized. you might have a problem with not receiving praise for a job well done. you might have a problem having someone younger/older than you be your boss. These are just a few “weaknesses” I’ve heard in interviews. A:I have advised people, hired and fired people, and I think honesty is above all the best answer, but I think in seeking a weakness, it is usually best to make it a weakness that is also a strength. Make it a a positive negative—Like: I’m too much of a perfectionist. I have a hard time sometimes accepting my own mistakes. I want to develop so fast and do the job so well, I can be impatient at times with myself. I have a hard time accepting compliments, or a hard time judging my own performance or something like that. Whatever you do, do not lie! That is one weakness that if found out, will color all the other strengths and weaknesses.

A:It is a no-win question that second-rate interviewers like to use, to make candidates feel uncomfortable. Don’t answer it directly. Say, “I like to pay careful attention to all of my tasks at hand.” Stun them with doublespeak. If you are good, they will never realize you didn’t answer the question directly, as asked. A:It is good that you are thinking ahead and that is a question that is a frequent one that is asked in an interview. The trick is to always attempt to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. You might say that you arrive too early at your job and are lonely when no one else or so few people are there. You may use staying late with the same type of answer. Another answer might be that you are too much of a perfectionist. Good luck on the interview.

A:Hiya, I interview all the time and this question is always asked of interviewees. One of my favourites is when people say “maybe sometimes I work too hard”. Future employers love that one!! You could say that you prefer to focus on your strengths but if you had one weakness it would be maybe that sometimes I work too hard. Good luck!

A:The reason people ask this in interviews is often to check whether you are self aware. For that reason I would avoid answers which are designed to trick the interviewer into thinking that your weakness is really a strength. You could say something along the lines of “Well, the areas I most want to develop are …” That will show that you are both self-aware and determined to develop.

A:I enjoy my work and always give each project my best shot. So when sometimes I don’t feel that others are pulling their weight, I find it a little frustrating. A:NEVER say “none”…. I ask this question in every interview I do… when they say that, I retort with “so, you’re perfect in everyway?” You know they are lying. I would answer with “I tend to overfocus on projects”…. I love it when I get answers like that!

A:If they are asking for a professional weakness, tell them them that filing is your weakness because everybody hates filing, but tell them that you are working on it. If it is a personal weakness then tell them that it is worrying that you will not get employment based on your nervousness at making a good first impression in interviews.

A:Anyone who would still actually ask those usual moronic interview questions – where do you see yourself in five years, what are your strengths, what are your weaknesses, etc. got their job through being related to the owner of the company, certainly not by being actually qualified to interview prospective employees; otherwise they would never ask questions that everyone already knows how to answer. But if you do get interviewed by an idiot, do what the majority here already said – turn the negative into a positive. “Oh, I tend to get so wrapped up in my current project that I forget to take breaks or stop for lunch until I am finished.” The idiot who asked you that idiotic question won’t even be listening anyway.

A:CLICHE ALERT!!!!!…..don’t say “I’m a perfectionist”..or “I’m a workaholic’…best solution is definately to turn it around…’areas I’m working on are….’ yes be honest of course but be clever with focus and emphasis. A:Better jobs don’t even ask questions like this. I’ve only been asked those kinds of questions in retail and for self-owned & operated clerical positions like day care centers, low paying jobs. I haven’t found an answer that works yet because I fail that question every time. They are testing you, and they catch me off guard with it all the time. It doesn’t really matter what you say because every ‘person’ is different in what they want to hear so you never know what answer will be what that particular interviewer is looking to hear. It’s crap.

A:be honest. Mine is being direct. I do not say please and thanks as much as I should. I was upfront. When someone says I am being rude my boss says no she is not, that is the way she is. I was upfront and that protects me. Plus that told them they would know what I thought and would not be a push over. So think of your weakness that is also a positive. You may ask to many questions (that tells them you are wanting to learn why and not just be a robot) You may be shy and it takes you a bit to warm up. This says you are laid back but also says you will not be the office gossip. I am sure you can think of many more

I always say my weakness is interviewing. I know I can handle any job, have good organizational skills, and am a team player. But instead of asking me to demonstrate that when I’m called in, the employer wants me to demonstrate my interviewing skills.
The truth it, if I know I’ve nailed the interview, and I’m telling the interviewer that this is my weakness, then the person must think I”m good at everything.
Or maybe I’m fooling myself and that comes across as a cop-out? -

I have only had one interview ever. Sad really. And I lied to the then boss, now my work partner. hehe
I told him that my biggest weakness was my handwriting. Which is horrible, lets face the fact I write worse than a doctor.
Now we’ve been Work Partners for 6 long years, he knows my biggest weakness is punctuality & I suffer from quick tongue syndrome. But that makes me better at my job.

Rightfully, the house should be sold and split equally, if both of you had paid equally into it.
In reality, it will come down to whoever has the better lawyer.

It’s a toss-up. Generally, in community property states, the total of all property is split to give each spouse one-half of the total value of the assets. In many cases, one spouse ends up buying out the other’s interest in a community home or business through an adjustment to other property or a refinancing. Sometimes, property is sold and the proceeds are split.
Your answer depends on what other assets are available to work with in the overall property settlement. Talk to a lawyer.

I can’t really say how it works in a community property state, but in Illinois, a non community property state, the person in the house usually prevails when people fight over the house. However, said person has to buy the other person out. If they can’t afford to do that, usually the house is sold. Again I can’t say whether this would go this way in a community property state, but the issue is often mediated before a judge makes a decision. It probably doesn’t hurt your case that your business is on the property.
You need to talk to an attorney about this.
